The people behind the performance
European Information Services (EIS) is part of our Global
Enterprise Information Solutions and Services team. It's a bit of a
mouthful but the mission is clear: to work as a successful partner
of the business to achieve top level performance and growth for
Heinz.
The function does this by building capabilities, providing
solutions and delivering process and technical solutions across the
business. Right now we're in the middle of a major change project,
which includes the implementation of SAP. This is a system that
will manage virtually all key areas of our business and give us
improved visibility of our end-to-end processes.
It's our job to implement, manage and maintain the business'
core infrastructure, including networks, telephony and PCs. We're
also constantly looking for new ways to reduce the cost of IT to
the business. IT can even play a part in reducing our impact on the
environment.
